NPT Issue #1: Idea Is Needed

Image
There is a Nigerian saying my Mom always mentions that goes "Idea is Needed". It means society needs ideas - Innovation - to function and progress. I am sharing somethings that the world needs to know and do because it's getting on everyone's nerves a little bit. There is great progress but there are a few unnecessary problems arising in spite of technology being very capable to address them. A better approach to implementation or execution would be very beneficial for the world at large. Let's do it together. Below are some ways in which innovation can be implemented at zero financial cost. I would like to break the myth and common belief that innovation must cost money or belongs only to companies which can afford it. Innovation belongs to everybody and nobody. Anyone can innovate anything. It can be big or small or simple or complex. There are no rules.  As an individual, it is common knowledge that ideas come most often in solitude or when on a "break...

How to Improve Coding for Technical Interviews and Online Assessments

Image
In this blog post, I share some things I am learning after reflecting on my past experiences that can help myself and others to improve coding for technical interviews and online assessments. Coding for technical interviews and online assessments is different to coding for university or coding on the job. In a technical interview, you need to meet the bottom line while emphasising how you communicate your thought process in a way that is easy for the interviewer to understand. In an online coding assessment, there is no interviewer, so you are essentially communicating your idea to yourself while meeting the bottom line. Though, in some cases, you may have to discuss design decisions in the next stage of the hiring process. Therefore, it makes sense to write clear, clean and concise code or as my mantra once was, "Nice documentation and clean code that works".   Objective:  Develop ability to solve unseen technical interview and online assessment coding questions qui...

Realizing My Destiny

I feel like everything is coming together, like I am reaching a convergence point in the ever-forming tapestry that is my life. I just shazamed a song while I was watching the closing scene of the last episode of the Netflix TV series called "The Recruit". The song was "Rabbit In Your Headlights" by UNKLE featuring Thom Yorke. It felt like the pinnacle of music. The instrumental, the jazz fusion, vocals, mood and vibe set by the song all came together to provide me with this sensational experience that I can just describe as sheer bliss. It energised me and filled me with a calm, serene, yet vibrant zeal. I was just immediately so inspired and had to share the enthusiasm.  I know it's been a while since my last post. A lot's happened but I will fill you in soon. While browsing the web I discovered more interesting people online that I will link to eventually in the relevant section on the website. I feel so blessed and favoured. My heart is filled with satis...

New Ideas

Hi again! It's been a while but I'm back! I've suddenly had a rush of new ideas for how to present myself online and offline. It should be interesting to see the results! I can't wait. I started writing as soon as I had the chance though the ideas have been flowing since late morning till now, I still consideer myself on time ;) I am really excited and can't wait to share what I have in mind. My execution of the ideas should be much better this time round as I have a few things going for me this time; motivation, inspiration, determination, necessity, time and an urge to create immediately. I am also working on a way to embed this blog in a neater way on my website so it's easier for y'all to read it, nicer to look at and has all the bells and whistles. However, as always, I will be going for something simple and clean that works to start off with. I'm feeling very passionate right now and am channeling my inner creative, if you couldn't tell already...
