This is a list of applications (apps) I've come across so far that I believe solve real-world problems in an effective way and apply technical solutions in a sensible manner. Too many apps these days overwhelm the user and employ technical methods without hesitation without addressing the user's problem. They leave a net negative impression of technology on the user. Below are some apps which leave net positive impressions of technology on the user and make tech fun again.
